HAVEN offers wraparound services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
With offices in both Modesto and Turlock, HAVEN ensures that community members can easily access support close to home.
Our services are also available at the Community Services Agency and the Family Justice Center, making help always within reach. Our mission is to provide everyone in need with convenient access to our community resources, offering reassurance and support.
We’re proud to partner with the Family Justice Center (FJC) as one of their on-site agencies. The FJC serves as a welcoming “one-stop” center for clients, and having our team on-site enables us to provide immediate crisis intervention and safety planning to those who walk in seeking help.
FJC navigators often refer clients to us for peer counseling, enrollment in HAVEN support groups, ongoing safety planning, court accompaniment, and connections to additional resources. We also participate in collaborative meetings—such as the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT)—to ensure we’re working together to provide the best possible support for survivors.
When someone visits the Family Justice Center (FJC) for support, they can get help with a restraining order, discover helpful resources, and file a police report—all in one convenient place. Our collaborative approach means they’re supported with care and information at every step.
An FJC attorney can guide them through the process of getting a restraining order, while the Sheriff’s Office is there to help with filing a police report. With their permission, an on-site HAVEN advocate can step in to provide friendly safety planning, crisis intervention, and even a Ring camera to help them feel safer at home.
Our collaborative approach ensures that each client receives a comprehensive range of services and feels truly heard and supported throughout their experience. HAVEN is committed to walking alongside clients, providing compassionate court accompaniment and ongoing advocacy as they journey towards healing and hope. This comprehensive support is designed to make our clients feel secure and cared for.
